Problem behavior

3/16/2008
I recently got my first pomeranian, Moose is 11 weeks old and is biting.  He has plenty of toys and gets exercise frequently. I just cant seem to break this habit of biting. I have tried saying "no bite", and that doesnt work.  I have tried a Pepsi can with pennies, and shaking it when he bites, a squirt bottle with water, and recently started flicking his nose.  I have also tried yelping when he bites and he comes back with more force.  I dont want to use physical force, but his behavior has got to stop!  I have previously always had large dogs, not used to the ankle biters! If anyone has any advice i would be very appreciative.  Love my new baby pom, he s just quite a handful!!!

Hi there this will sound funny but I have found when mine were doing that I used that warhead sour spray,I know that sounds funny but it does work and it will not harm then dog at all actually they really dont like it so it works wonders and if you are consistent then after awhile all you will need to do is put it on the counter and he will stop what he is doing I find if you keep it in the fridge it is much more affective good luck!!!!
